The Artist

Born in Houston Texas and raised with an appreciation for the arts, Joseph has many fond childhood memories of playing the piano with his father, drawing with his mother, and attending musicals, plays and the theater. It was this upbringing and support from his family and friends that allowed Joseph to embrace his calling and pursue his art.

Recognized as “one of the best” with strong collector support including the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, the artist is constantly trying to exceed the expectations and perceived limitations of his medium. Most recently Joseph has just returned from France, where he was a collaborator in creating a public sculpture for the Leon Berard Children’s Cancer Hospital in Lyon, France. Prior to France, the artist took part in a six-month residency in Southern Italy where he mounted three exhibitions (including the first ever exhibit by an American Artist in Carlo V Castle). Joseph currently resides in Houston’s museum district, as he finds the city’s rich art scene a potent source of creative inspiration.
